1. Do you offer an express service to speed up the order?
Yes, for our paintings and drawings we do offer an express service. For only 20% more, you can order an express service which will give your order a priority over other orders and will improve the turnaround time
2. How long does it take?
The turnaround depends on four factors:
Whether you use normal service or express service
The medium you choose – oil takes longer due to drying time
The size of the painting – a larger painting or one with multiple subjects will take longer to complete.
If you send us your photos via regular mail, the time frame described below begins from the day we receive your photos.
Here are typical average times.
Medium Size Portraits (12"x16"thru 20"x24") except Charcoal or pencil

* If you need your painting sooner, please select the express service option on the shopping cart page. This service costs an additional 20%. If you choose this option, your order is immediately placed at the top of our list and we begin working on it immediately.
3. How will my order be packaged?
We offer three shipping options:
Rolled - your painting will be shipped rolled in a heavy cardboard tube.
Gallery Wrap - your painting will be stretched on a wooden frame. This extra cost option is only for oil and acrylic paintings.
Framed - due to the wide varieties of frames, framing is available on an individual basis. Ask about this service via a separate email.
4. What countries do you ship to and how much does it cost?
To many countries the shipping is FREE of charge for a rolled painting. Gallery wrapped and framed paintings will be calculated on an individual basis.
5. If I order several items in one order will the shipping cost more?
When ordering several items in a single order you will only be charged ONCE for the shipping (the shipping charge may be slightly higher than for one item).
6. Have all of your artists been trained?
Yes. All of our artists were trained at top art universities here and/or in Europe and are active artists.
Prices and Payments
1. How much do they cost?
Our paintings vary in cost depending on the selected style as well as size and framing method chosen.
Painting faces or other details is the most challenging part for the artist and a larger size also takes more effort. This is why we have a higher price for more people or pets and for a larger size.
If your photo is of anything other than one or more persons or pets, choose ‘Photo’ as the type. The number of subjects is tallied based on the number of people or pets does not count background images such as houses or trees.

2. Do you charge extra for changes?
When we finish your painting you will receive a photo of it. Any changes may be made at that time at no additional charge
3. How do I pay for my painting?
You may pay with your PayPal account.credit card on our website.
If you do not have a PayPal account you may use your credit or debit card on PayPal.
We cannot accept any other form of payment, including cash or checks.
4. Which currencies do you accept?
We accept US Dollars, Euros and Polish Zloty. You can choose your currency during the order process.
1. Which is the best medium for my painting or drawing?
The best medium to choose is a matter of personal taste. This is why we suggest that you browse our galleries of oil, charcoal, pencil and acrylic to see which one you like best. The most popular media are Oil and Acrylic.
2. Can I choose my own background?
Yes, you can, at no additional cost. The first way is for us to pick a suitable background and this will be done unless you tell us otherwise. The second is you can send in another photo as background. When you place your order you will see a comment text box which allows you to let us know if there are any changes you would like have done, including the background.
3. May I use more than one gift certificate for my order?
Unfortunately, we can only apply one gift certificate to a single order.
4. On the website you show the size as 12 x 16 inches. Can I get 16 x 12 inches?
To save space we only quote the one size. However the price and everything else is the same whether it is vertical (commonly called Portrait) or horizontal (commonly called Landscape). Therefore, 12 x 16 and 16 x 12 are the same. If you want a horizontal photo painted as a vertical or vice versa, please tell us that in the comment section of the order form.
5. Can I buy a gift certificate for someone?
Yes! This is a fantastic gift idea! Specify on the order form that you are purchasing a gift certificate, the amount and for whom. No further choices for size, medium, etc. need to be made by you. The recipient will receive a beautiful certificate by email with a unique code, or you may choose to have a hard copy mailed to you or your recipient. They may apply this certificate to their choice of our paintings.
Sending Your Photos
1. What email address should I send my photographs to?
In case you only have your photo as a hard copy you may send it by regular mail to:

1. What if my photo is not good quality?
Please email the photo to us before you submit your order and request examination. We can then advise you on the photo and let you know if it is suitable.
2. What file format should I use when I submit my photo?
The preferred file types for receiving your photos are .jpg, .gif, .bmp, or .tiff. We suggest sending the highest resolution and quality photo available. It doesn’t matter how big the file is. The better the quality of the original photo, the better your results will be. If you have any doubt about the quality you may email it to us for examination.
3. Which photos can I use for my painting?
Any photo that allows us to clearly see the details will work. Here are some tips on what you should look for:
Send photos that flatter the photographed person. If that person doesn’t like the way they look in the photo for whatever reason try to pick another photo. Our artists are very talented, but they can’t make Frankenstein look like Brad Pitt.
Try to send a photo with the highest resolution. Too low a resolution (100KB or less) may be too low for our artists to create a good quality painting from it.
Pay attention to the background. Suppose you have a beautiful photo of your child for example, but the background is filled with details that will detract from the painted portrait. In this case, you may simply choose a solid background from the options we offer, or ask the artist to choose it for you.
1. Can I request special editing of my photos?
Yes. When you fill out the order form you will find a comments box. Use it to explain what your special requests are. We can do some awesome things with your original photos: we can combine figures (make it look like you’re having a great time with a Hollywood celebrity), change the background and add or eliminate figures (get rid of that obnoxious uncle in a group photo). Sometimes we can even create color images from black and white photos or fix damaged or old photos. Sorry, we can’t make your old relative look younger.
2. Can you combine images from multiple photographs into a single image?
Yes, we can! You can upload or send several photographs via email and have different parts of each one combined into a single image. Just use the comment text box when placing your order to give us details about what you want.
3. Can you restore old photos or make a color painting from a black & white photo?
If a photo requires restoration, we will automatically do it before starting your order. If you have a Black & white photo and you want us to paint or print it in color, please mention it in the comments text box that appears during the order process underneath the area where you upload your photo(s). Tell us any details about the photo, like the color of the hair, eyes and clothing. We will send you our interpretation of the photo. This may be correct the first time or may take several tries, but this is the time to get it right before any painting starts. This service will not cost you anything extra.
1. Can I see my painting or drawing before you ship it?
Yes. Once the painting from your photo is ready, we will contact you to review it online. Most of our customers are happy with their first preview. However, if you feel that any modifications should be made, we receive your feedback, make the requested modifications and send it back to you for confirmation. Only after we receive your approval is the painting shipped to you.
2. If I have a preference, will I be able to choose the artist that will work on my painting or drawing?
Yes! Just select a painting that you like from our online gallery. If you have no preference we will assign the artist we feel will do the best job for you.
3. How can I find out how my painting is coming along?
To see how your painting is coming along please log in to your account and click on ‘Your Orders’. The status will show as either Received, In the Queue, in Progress, Awaiting Approval (from you) or Shipped.
4. Can you provide a custom size and at what cost?
Custom sizes can be ordered, but will involve an additional charge. Just choose the size from the list closest to what you want. In the comments section tell us the exact size that you want. We will send you an email, and tell you the exact price of that size. We cannot give a uniform answer to the question of cost since more than just cutting a canvas is involved.
5. How can I ask for changes or confirm changes to my painting?
Log into your account and use the links for change request or to confirm a change. Please don't send us a separate email because this will slow down your order.
6. I confirmed the photo of my painting, but still haven't received a notice about shipping. Why not?
If you ordered an oil painting we must allow 2 to 4 days for it to dry. It you ordered a frame this must be created especially for your painting.
7. Is my personal information safe?
Yes it is. All the information gathered through our secure server will be used solely to process your orders and will never be released to any third party. Your payment information is not stored, which is why you need to put it in with each order.
8. What is your return policy?
If within 30 days of receiving your painting you are not satisfied for any reason return it in the original package and it will be replaced or your payment refunded.
9. I don’t see an answer to my question. What now?
We have tried to create this help menu and most questions are answered within it, but if not, you may send us an email to ask any questions.
